Photos & Annotations: Tryfan East Face and Main Gully Ridge, Glyder Fach

20Apr11

A mid-week scramble with Matt, down from Kendal for a few days. Our warm up, an ascent of Nor’ Nor’ Groove (1/2 *) on the East Face, wasn’t as quiet as expected of a Wednesday with some school groups out (and some misplaced yet very amicable climbers from Yorkshire found at the top of the North Tower asking for the best way to get to the start of Grooved Arête).

Post-Tryfan excitement, Main Gully Ridge (3 ***) beckoned with endless quality rock, and a descent of Y Gribin led us back down (via a random scouser naturally)

We seem to have hurdled Spring and begun Summer!
