After a cruise through the newly ploughed roads of Snowdonia, (part photographing the new improved winter scenery and part searching for a car park), I headed for the far west of the park to catch the clearer skies, sunset, and moonrise…

Heading up Y Garn was not as much a plod as expected, only in parts did snow-drifts impede progress, and the views from the tops were stunning.
