Phew, glad that’s over! 193 people out over Saturday and Sunday, and despite the rigorous checks still 3 denim-wearers slipped through. Alas, only 188 summated despite the delightful weather we had, well, no rain and some good views.

Yesterday I was leading with the hard group negotiating some pretty greasy rock, today I was floating *unofficially* and after summating first with my adopted group close behind, I remained at the top to keep an eye on logistics and numbers. With all 6 groups at the top within 30 minutes the going was pretty good and as a bonus I managed to complete half the route down to halfway house (-540m and 3.5km) in 25 minutes (the train track) to re-join the Trainers 3 group.

Oh and by the way, someone’s going to have to alter the Snowdon trig point – it still says “University of Wales, Bangor”!
